Last checked 2026-10-17. Refreshed every three months.

Tuscaloosa’s sit-down pizza is mostly downtown (Heat Pizza Bar, Mellow Mushroom and Broadway Pizzeria’s Greensboro Avenue shop) and on University Boulevard by campus (The Standard). The delivery chains are spread along McFarland Boulevard, Skyland Boulevard and Highway 69 South.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tuscaloosa’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added Papa Johns and the Pizza Hut on McFarland Boulevard North because their own location pages give Tuscaloosa addresses. We left out Hungry Howie’s, Little Caesars and Marco’s, whose store pages did not load a Tuscaloosa location for us; PYRO’s Fire Fresh Pizza, whose site lists no Tuscaloosa store; The Station Pizzaria, whose web address no longer belongs to a restaurant; the Pizza Hut on McCorvey Drive on campus, whose page shows it closed every day; and gas-station pizza counters. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
