4 dessert shops in Tuscaloosa with hours from their own sites: cookies, cobbler and ice cream sandwiches on University Boulevard and McFarland Boulevard East.
Last checked 2026-10-17. Refreshed every three months.
Tuscaloosa’s dessert shops sit in two places: the 1130 University Blvd. shopping strip near campus (Insomnia Cookies and The Peach Cobbler Factory) and McFarland Boulevard East (Crumbl and The Baked Bear, near Midtown Village).
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tuscaloosa’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We left out Rita’s Italian Ice, Dairy Queen, Freddy’s, Yogurt Mountain and Krispy Kreme, whose sites blocked us or did not load a Tuscaloosa page; TCBY, whose Tuscaloosa page no longer exists; and The Parlor, Summer Snow and Las Piñas, which have no website of their own that we could find and which we could not confirm a second way. Doughnut shops and bakeries are on our bakeries list where their sites confirm them. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
